According to Niche.com, the best neighborhoods to live in Collier County have been decided. Are you thinking about buying in Naples, Florida? If so, consider one of these three communities. The third best area to live according to Niche.com is the community of Pelican Bay. This community has a population of roughly 5,900 people. Pelican Bay is known for its private beach, amenities and proximity to excellent shopping and food. One of my favorite places to eat near Pelican Bay is True Foods.
The homes in Pelican Bay include single family, small condos, townhomes and high-rises. The fees within the community are higher than most communities in Naples but well worth it for the exclusivity. The main community is not gated but some of the developments within Pelican Bay are gated. So the option for gated and non-gated exists. The below graphic shows the Overall Niche Grade of an A.
Pine Ridge was ranked the second best place to live in Naples, Florida. The population of this neighborhood about 1,978, less than half the size of Pelican Bay. Homes in Pine Ridge start around the $800,000 mark and go up to several million depending on size of lot and home. All the homes are single family homes in Pine Ridge and the neighborhood offers a suburban feel with access to everything in the North Naples area. Public schools in this area are highly rated. A couple to note are Seagate Elementary, Barron Collier and Gulf Coast High School.
The winner of the number one spot is the City of Naples which has roughly 21,279 residents. Homes in the City of Naples are some of the most desired homes in Collier County. Many of the homes are on the Gulf of Mexico beach or close to the beach. You have access to Fifth Avenue and 3rd Street shopping and dinning. Many of my favorite restaurants are in these locations. There are so many to try but must visits include Campiellos, Hob Nob, Sails and Tulia Osteria. There are many homes that do not require HOA fees and some condos that are affordable and within walking distance to the beach and dinning. The image below illustrates where the City of Naples is located within Collier County.
